An amana air conditioner can be a very nice unit that will do a pretty good job of keeping you cool in the summer but there are a few things you need to know and I’m going to discuss them in great detail on this web page today. I will discuss the different features of different models and let you know what to expect as far as prices are concerned so that you’re sure to pay the right price.

I thought I would start out with some the cheaper models and sort of work my way up to the more expensive ones so that you get a clear idea of what to expect along the price spectrum as far as details and features and energy levels and whatnot… so let’s get started.

Amana ACA057F 5200-BTU Window Air Conditioner at only $113 you would be hard-pressed to find a cheaper entry-level air conditioner among any other brand. This nice little unit has 5,200 BTU of power and should cool a small room of up to 150 ft.². It has two cool settings and two fan settings and is 9.7 EER and offers an ultra quiet operation. It has a top discharged airflow pattern, as well as a dehumidification function and a washable filter which is nice for a cheaper unit. It will fit most windows of 21 1/2 inches to 32 3/16 inches wide. It has a remote control and a mounting kit and comes with a one-year limited warranty which you don’t often see for cheaper models.

Amana Acd105e 10000 Btu Energy Star Room Air Conditioner slightly more expensive is this $250 model. It has a full electronic remote control and operates ultra quietly and comes with a photocatalytic (tio2) air purification filter with UV light that make sure you get the best air. It is a 10,000 BTU 10.8 EER system that comes with the all top discharged airflow pattern and comes with a digital time and temperature display and a 24-hour on off timer as well as electrostatic air filter with hydrophilic resin coated indoor coil.

Amana 8000 BTU Air Conditioner w/remote this is another unit that cost only $250 and looks very nice. It is 8,000 BTUs and runs at 115 Volts of power. It should have no problem cooling a room of up to 350 square feet, which is really enough to cool most medium-sized rooms. It has a handy electronic control and digital temperature display along with an automatic timer and UV technology to kill bacteria which is incredibly nice. It has three cooling settings and three fan speeds and comes with an ultra quiet operation and visual time display as well as a 24 hour timer, quick install kit, and safety power cord.

Amana ACD125R 12,000-BTU Touch/Remote Room Air Conditioner at around $660 this is the workhorse of this brand. It is a 12,000 BTU unit with 9.8 EER that will cool a room of up to 600 square feet. It comes with electronic controls as well as a digital timer and temperature display and also a dehumidification function and the same photocatalytic air purification filter that will give you cleaner air. It has a slide out chassis and top discharged airflow pattern as well is three cool settings and three fan settings and the 24-hour on off timer that you would expect.

So now you have the skinny on an amana air conditioner to fit your exact needs and your exact budget. As you can see, there are options for just about everybody at just about every price range and I hope that you now have all the information you need to make the best purchase possible.

Most people need a casement air conditioner if they have a casement window, obviously! Luckily they make special air conditioners specifically designed to fit these types of windows, so don’t worry! I’m going to discuss several popular brands that put out these types on window units for you today. I’ll discuss all of the different features you can expect to find and also talk price so that you know you’re getting the best deal possible.

The problem with casement windows, or at least one of the problems is that they are all different. No two are the same which can sometimes make finding an air conditioner that will fit your particular window a little tricky. Luckily it doesn’t have to be all that hard because more and more these days companies have gotten wise to this fact and have produced some nice alternatives that won’t cost you an arm and a leg. I’ll start at some of the smaller end less expensive models and slowly move my way up so that you’ll have a good overall idea of what you can expect to find with these kinds of units.

Haier HWV10XC5 Slider Casement Air Conditioner this is a nice smaller unit the cost only $200 and is a slider casement that pumps out 10,000 BTU’s which is pretty effective for a smaller size room and maybe up to a medium-sized room but I really wouldn’t push it that far. This unit has a more rectangular upright look to it than a regular square model and comes with two knobs on the front for air control making this not a particularly feature rich model, if you know what I mean!

Haier HWVR10XC6 10,000 BTU 3-Speed Air Conditioner at $250 this is pretty much the same as the last unit but with a few more bells and whistles for the extra $50. It has an ultra quiet operation which is particularly nice in a cheaper unit. It has a digital time and temperature display which is more a bell and whistle type thing then useful in nature. It comes with oxidation and rust free and is clean as well as a fresh air vent which is handy. It is a three speed model and churns out approximately 10,000 BTUs of power. I’ve really not heard anything good or bad about this particular air conditioner to report.

Gibson GAK104Q1V slightly more expensive is the $330 Gibson, but I’ll tell you right now if you look around just a little bit online you can find it for about $300. It has 10,000 BTUH of cooling capacity and a three speed fan the comes with electronic controls and a remote and will cool up to a 490 square-foot room making it ideal for medium-sized rooms. It has four way air direction control and an easy mount window kit which is particularly important for this type of casement window unit. I like the look of this unit because there’s something solid looking about it that jumps right out at you.

Frigidaire FAK124R1V 12,000-BTU Slider/Casement Air Conditioner with Electronic Controls at $470 this is a slightly more expensive model but you get what you pay for and you can’t go wrong with Frigidaire! at 12,000 BTU, this guy will cool a room of up to 640 ft.² making it ideal for medium to larger sized rooms. It is 9.5 EER, has electronic controls with full remote and a 24-hour on off timer which I could not live without! It has energy saver as well a sleep modes, and a variable speed fan with four way air direction control. It is a vertical window mounting kit with a slide out antimicrobial mesh filter.

As you can see when it comes to a casement air conditioner, you have many different options at a variety of price ranges. Haier, Gibson, and Frigidaire are not the only companies by far to produce casement units but I think you’ll be quite happy with their selection and if you have to narrow it down anyway these 3 are a good place to start.

A fedders air conditioner is a great option for many different people because of the range of versatile options that they offer. From portable indoor units, to wall units, to full house condensing units and everything in between at a variety of price ranges, these guys offer something for everyone.

That’s why I built this web page today, to help you narrow down your options, learn what is available, decide which price is right for you and generally help you to get the best deal possible without getting ripped off. We don’t sell air conditioners here, so you know my advice is spot on and not a conflict of interest like you might find at other web sites. So lets start at the bottom and work our way right up to the top.

Airwell-Fedders Portable Air Conditioner 9000 Btu this is a very nice little portable air conditioner for only $360. Many people aren’t interested in portable units because they’re looking mainly for wall units or full house systems but I thought I would make a quick mention just in case. What’s nice about this one is that it also dehumidifies as well as conditions the air. It comes with hoses that you can run out your window which many portable units don’t have. It has a remote control on a thermostat and an LCDI shock-protected 115 volt power cord. It also comes with washable replaceable filters and an auto defrost and quiet cooling system as well as a two speed fan and a 12 hour timer.

Fedders Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner – A7T08W2A at $335 this is a nice little window unit that runs at 8,000 BTUs on 115 volts that should cool an area up to 340 square feet, which is about the size of most smaller rooms. It comes with washable filters which are very convenient so that you don’t have to keep buying new ones. AHAM certified, replete with auto restart function and a 24 hour timer, this is a very nice entry level wall unit.

Fedders Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner – A7T10W7A slightly larger, this unit costs about $420 and runs at 10,000 BTUs on 230 volts. You should have no trouble cooling a room up to 450 square feet, which is usually the size of a nice medium-sized room. Like the other, it comes with washable filters and is AHAM certified and also comes with the auto restart and 24 hour timer function that will come in handy more often than you can imagine!

Fedders C36ACD1VF 3.0 Ton Split System Air Conditioner 13 SEER now were pulling out the big guns! This is a full house condensing unit. It runs at 36,000 BTU and has an efficiency rating of 13 SEER and cooling capacity of three tons. It’s exterior cabinet is cased in galvanized steel, has 1,000 hour salt spray and a powder coated finish as well as a powder coated fan guard with full louvered panel that protects the coils. It’s formed base has 2 1/2 inches of ground clearance and it is factory charged with R-22 refrigerant.

So there you have several options for a good fedders air conditioner. Whether you’re interested in a small portable unit that you can move from room to room as needed, or a nice small to mid sized wall unit, or even a full-blown outdoor unit to cool your entire house; fedders has something for you at just about any price range making them a very interesting air conditioner company and one you should have no problem with.

Finding the right air conditioner is important because it keeps you cool, that’s why you want a reliable frigidaire air conditioner that you can count on to work the way it’s supposed to and keep you cool the way you deserve to be! On this page I’m going to discuss several different models that you can choose from, describe their features in depth, and tell you what you can expect to pay and how you can get the best deal.

One of the great things about frigidaire is their huge selection at just about any price range. You can spend around a hundred bucks or you can spend a thousand, and anything in between depending on how powerful you want the unit to be, and how many bells and whistles. I’ll start with the lower end of the price spectrum and slowly move my way up so you get a good general idea of what to expect at each level.

Frigidaire FAX052P7A Window Unit Air Conditioner at only $112, this is a great little wall unit! It has 5000 BTU cooling capacity that should cool a 150 square foot room. It has a pleated quick mount window kit that should allow you to install it in just about any size window. It has a mesh filter type with a slide out filter access which is important. It has two way air directional control and a 9.7 energy efficiency rating.

Frigidaire FAA055P7A Compact Small-Room Air Conditioner with Remote Control slightly more expensive, at $150 this is a nice middle to lower priced model. It is a 5200 BTU compact air conditioner that should work well in up to 165 square foot rooms. It has an eight way air directional control and variable speed fan as well as electronic controls and a full function remote. It has an auto cool setting as well as sleep settings and a 24-hour on-off timer. It comes with an LDC technology air filter with tilt out filter access and a pleaded quick mount window kit.

Frigidaire FAC106P1A Compact II 10,000-BTU Room Air Conditioner with Electronic Controls at $242 we’re starting to get into more substantial units here. It measures 21.25″ x 19″ x 14.5″. It comes with a quick mount window kit and a clean air filtration tilt out filter access system. It comes with an energy saver and sleep mode as well as a variable speed fan and eight way air direction control. It is a 10,000 BTU air conditioner for larger rooms up to 490 square feet. It is energy Star qualified for those of you who care about that sort of thing.

Frigidaire FAS256R2A 25,000-BTU Window Air Conditioner with Electronic Controls at around $550 this is a much more substantial model for larger rooms obviously. It is a 25,000 BTU air conditioner that should work well for rooms up to 1,672 square feet. It has 9.4 EER, electronic controls and a 24-hour on-off timer. It is a low voltage start up model that comes with a quick mount window kit and a tilt out clean air ionizer. It has variable speed fans and multi-air directional ability.

So there you see a fairly broad range of units that are available in a frigidaire air conditioner. Whatever size room you have and whatever your budget is one thing is for sure, and that is that Frigidaire is a company that has been around forever that you can absolutely trust and that you know will be around for as long as you own your air conditioner.

When it comes to an indoor air conditioner, you have many more options than you may be aware of. Technology has come a long ways recently, driving down the prices of these small portable units and driving up the quality of them as well. You don’t have to suffer through sweltering heat any longer because at prices almost anyone can afford, these indoor units work wonders.

When I was younger I moved to the big city, and I got an apartment at the top of an 18 story skyscraper apartment building. It was a beautiful building but it is very old and it did not have air conditioning. What it did have was window units that were very old and very loud. I didn’t have a whole lot of money so you can imagine that my apartment was very small. In fact, it was a studio apartment that was just one single room.

Being just one room, the small window unit was more than enough to keep the place cool, the problem was that it was so old and it made so much noise, and the room was so small that whenever it ran you couldn’t hear yourself think, and you couldn’t even hear the television unless you turned up the volume so loud that it disturbed everybody on the entire floor.

And it wasn’t like I could just swap out the old air conditioner and stick in a new quieter one because we were 18 floors up! One wrong move and that thing would plummet all the way to the ground and literally kill someone! Besides it was bolted down and I would never have dreamed of climbing out there on the windowsill to try and unbolt it!

The solution was a small indoor air conditioner like the ones I want to discuss today. These things used to be fairly expensive and didn’t used to work all that well but like I said earlier, technology has advanced and today you can find one for as little as $100 all the way up to $500 to $1000 depending on the bells and whistles and just how powerful you need it to be, making these great investments for anybody who’s hot!

SPT SF-608R Portable Evaporative Air Cooler: at only $115 this is a great entry-level unit. It contains an evaporative air cooler system, as well as a humidifier and a fan for cooling and humidifier. It uses water to cool the air, and uses oscillating louvers so that you get an even distribution. It comes with a 10 L water tank and it has three air speeds and even a sleep mode that you can set to a half-hour all the way to 7 1/2 hours on a timer. It’s a small unit, measuring only 12 x 16 x 25″ and comes with a one-year warranty which is fantastic. This is a wonderful unit at a very small price. While not technically an air conditioner and more of an air cooler it will nonetheless do a good job for you.

Haier CPRB07XC7 7,000-BTU Portable Air Conditioner with Remote Control: at $280 this is a slightly more expensive but more powerful air-conditioning unit. It has an auto evaporation function and an electronic control with full function remote. It has a heat pump heating feature as well. It has three cooling and three fan speeds as well as an easy access air filter. This will keep your room cold even on the hottest of days.

Finding an indoor air conditioner is an important task for anyone who cannot use a regular wall unit for any particular reason. Take a look at the rest of the website for more options as well a special deals that you won’t find anywhere else.
